授業概要：
Bioethics and Genes: This course will look at the bioethical issues raised by the use of genetic technology in medicine and agriculture. We will discuss the science, ethics and legal aspects from an international perspective. It will supplement the other Bioethics course (friday 4th period), which focuses on general bioethical issues.

授業内容：

（２）組換え体の放出、遺伝子工学の危険性
（３）ヒトゲノム計画
（４）生物と特許、人間から抽出された遺伝物質の特許
（５）ヒトゲノムの多様性第
（６）遺伝子スクリーニング
（７）遺伝差別とプライバシーの保護；優生学
（８）ヒト遺伝子治療（体細胞遺伝子治療）
（９）ヒト遺伝子工学、遺伝学時代における私たちの将来
（10）文化を越えた生命倫理

前提科目・履修上の注意事項：
講義は原則として英語で行う。The lectures will be given in English.

単位取得条件、成績評価基準：
課題レポート(3回、75%)、出席状況と授業における取り組み方(25%)。 There will be no test, but written reports are required.
